Nicola Spooner is a multimedia native. She is VP of Strategy at Unruly and her career has spanned newspapers, magazines, online and mobile advertising, which provides her with unique insight into multi-channel communications. Prior to Unruly, Nicky worked on the Comms Solution team at Weve, the UK mobile joint venture between O2, Vodafone and EE. She has also volunteered with Women in Wireless, working alongside a group of very smart women to bring thought leadership events and boost career development for women in the mobile and digital industries. Nicky has spoken at Cannes Lions, ISBA events and led media innovation workshops for global brands including Nestle, Diageo, J&J, Kelloggs and Pernod Ricard. As one of the leaders of the Unruly Home project, Nicky regularly leads tours and workshops educating brands and agencies about the future of advertising. Outside of work, Nicky enjoys spending time with her family, and being on the winning teams in quizzes (which doesn’t happen as often as she would like).

As someone who loves observing, analysing and diving deep into a topic, research was always going to be perfect field for Rebecca Waring, VP Insight at Unruly. With a talent for choreographing data coming up with original angles and techniques, Rebecca was naturally drawn to Unruly through its work with academia and in-house research projects. Following graduation from Cambridge University, Rebecca joined measurement and analytics giant ComScore where she spent four years before moving to Microsoft and then Unruly in 2014. If there was one thing Rebecca could change about the industry, it would be to push for more campaigns to be measured holistically across different channels. Rebecca loves to spend time with clients and work with them to deliver creative, original and effective video advertising. She’s been published in Adweek and WARC, and has presented on stage at numerous industry events. When she isn’t wrestling with research, Rebecca enjoys yoga and dancing, not simultaneously.

Khan has worked in the advertising industry for more than 25 years and has extensive experience in nurturing key agency, client and partner relationships, integrating businesses and refining go-to-market offerings across different territories. Khan joined Unruly, a premium ad platform for CTV, mobile and desktop, in May 2020 and is responsible for driving the company’s growth, including rolling out the additional CTV, In-App and In-stream services added following the company’s acquisition by Tremor International at the start of 2020. Prior to joining Unruly, he spent over a year as Managing Director for APAC at mobile advertising and In-App monetization specialists, Smaato. Khan has also previously held senior leadership positions at Oath (APAC), AOL (Asia and ANZ) and was Head of Agency Sales at Yahoo! UK. As well as having a sharp commercial focus, Khan is also passionate about championing diversity in the industry. He is an Advisor and Innovation Lead for WGI, an international education organization that focuses on combating illiteracy in many communities around the world, and is a regular on the speaking circuit, recently speaking at ATS Singapore, Spikes Asia and IAB events.
