Nick Reid

Nick Reid boasts almost two decades of UK media industry experience, working with some of Europe's hottest brands and agencies. Career highlights include managing the Volvo, Nike and Three Mobile accounts at Mindshare, Emap Sales Director, and Head of Sales for MySpace, where he established the UK sales team and was one of the first ten employees this side of the Atlantic. Prior to joining TubeMogul in 2013, Nick was VP Advertising at Adjug when it was purchased by IgnitionOne. His time at TubeMogul has seen the transition from start-up, to becoming a public business, post IPO in 2014, to being acquired by Adobe at the end of 2016. Nick is a Philosophy graduate from Leeds University.

Jon was appointed CEO of the IAB UK, the trade body representing the digital advertising industry. The IAB’s role is to unite the industry with 1,200 members, including media owners, agencies and brands. Jon’s vision stems from the belief that digital is the smartest way for brands to reach and wow their customers. His mission is to re-assert the positives of digital. He has been at the IAB since 2008, joining as the first Head of Mobile before stepping up to become Director of Mobile and Operations and then the IAB's first Chief Operating Officer. Prior roles include Head of Marketing for Orange portals team, controlling the trade and consumer marketing strategies and media research. Jon has featured as number 10 in The Drum’s Mobile Top 50 and has spoken on numerous high profile platforms. He is fascinated with technology and known in the industry for his witty banter.

In his 15-year career in digital media, he has held roles in business and product development at Sky and AOL while lending his expertise to the trade bodies Thinkbox and IAB. Tim joined Ebiquity’s Media Value Measurement practice in 2016. The division specializes in providing brands with tools and consultancy services to improve media performance while ensuring transparency. Tim is helping to develop the digital measurement tools and techniques necessary to address the challenges facing advertisers today.

David Urgell

David Urgell is Senior Vice President of Strategy, Business Development and Digital for Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Southern & Western Europe, Middle East & Africa. In this role, he is responsible for developing new business and expanding the presence of VIMN brands including MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central in the regions, as well as overseeing the digital, research and affiliate departments. David Urgell has more than 15 years of experience in company management and finance within media, consulting and aerospace industries. Prior to joining VIMN, David worked for Fox International from 2006 to 2014, where he rose through the ranks to become the Vice President of Business Planning and Development for Europe and Africa. From 2003 to 2006, he worked as Controller of the Business and Controlling Department for Aries Complex, one of the biggest aerospace subcontracting companies in Spain. From 1998 until 2003, Urgell was a Senior Consultant for IBM Business Consulting Services in Information, Communication and Entertainment, specialized in Strategy and Business Process. David Urgell holds an Executive MBA from the ESADE Business and Law School. He also completed the ESIC: Business and Marketing School GESCO program and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.

He started his professional career in 1996 with the RTL marketer IP Deutschland for the stations RTL, VOX, RTL II and SuperRTL.
